As a huge star wars fan I'm ashamed and disappointed at what star wars has become 😔

Robot Head, where's your review of The Acolyte man? I know everyone's already all over it, but we need your special sauce to level up the humor.

I think Furiosa was even worse than Beyond Thunderdome. The only redeeming quality was Chris Hemsworth actually trying. I was so used to him playing Thor for Marvel (very boringly) so I forgot that he was actually an excellent actor. Anya-Taylor was obviously miscast for this role. All the props felt like they were too clean for this wasteland, especially Jack's shining war rig. Same goes for Jack himself. Why was he like a good normal decent dude -- even more decent than Max, and make it so far? Very boring character. Also Gastown CGI looked horrible. The re-used props from Fury Road were infuriating and made the whole movie seemed like it was made because the studio said we need to milk more money from the hard work they had done for FR ten years ago. Max cameo was underwhelming at best. The narration and title cards sucked real bad. This movie completely forgot the 'show don't tell' principle, especially the ending. The one armed motorcycle ride was also ridiculous. Especially the up-hill part. The constant capture/escape cycle with Furiosa got old real fast. Way too many characters died in uninteresting, boring, meaningless ways. There was no power struggle visible within Dementus's gang although it was implied in the Gastown raid. Also, the new car designs were boring (something I could drew up in 2 hours) and due to the CGI they felt weightless. I swear to god - the 2015 video game had better feeling action that all this crap. Overall I would give this movie an 4/10. Decent action movie. Bad Mad Max movie and a fall from grace considering the previous entry. Such a shame Miller didn't quit while ahead.

"My eyes were entertained but my brain wasn´t." is the perfect summary of everything that I felt about that movie! Thank you for giving me that and now I can finally sleep well.^^

thing is finn wouldve been a better main character than rey couldve been. a stormtrooper who becomes a jedi? learns the ways of the force and ends up fighting back against the regime that made him? thatd be such a fantastic plot line, itd do something new while still allowing for nostalgia bait

Whats crazy is how they are so helbent on sticking to making everything canon for a 50 year old franchise. When there has been 3 going on 4 different Superman universes, a million Batman ones, 3 Spiderman ones, and multiple Transformers. Just make a new trilogy and say it's the official continuity after the sequels. It's just that easy.

I like obi wan. The series is bad. Ashoka ended weird. Boba was good for a couple episodes. Manadlorain was good.

I turned to my wife in the theater about halfway through and said "this isn't very good." and she agreed.

Nothing tops starkiller base's stupidity. A small red dwarf star will CASUALLY literally rip apart gas giants if they get too close. And that solar system had a sunlike star, which would be 5-10x more massive and larger in size. Converting its mass to energy would not only outshine the entire GALAXY, it would quite literally vaporize everything in that solarsystem. It would be so bright and so hot, you'd have to be lightyears away to not be cooked. Its energy would take weeks, possibly months to fully expel. And you're telling me all that starmass is good for is blowing up 5 pebbles? Come ON! that's like using the entire energy ever produced by humanity and barely powering a 0.00000001w bulb for a bit. That scene is a disrespect to stars and science.

Great and honest review. Its hard to watch these movies when you grew up with the originals. They should stop calling them Mad Max and just call it "Queen of the Wastelands".

3:10 "star was saved my life" I think what she really means is that she figured her days of big money and having idiots fawning over her were over and now that she's been handed another golden ticket with little to no repercussion over what she did or didn't do in regards to the whole H.W. "situation" she's expressing relief she didn't have to go get a real job.

I quit actually caring about star wars when the sequel trilogy came out and every project since a been a steaming pile of shit and only George Lucas has the knowledge to make star wars great again but at this point star wars is completely dead and is nothing but a zombie wandering around

I liked some of the visuals

I wanted more on Furiosa's origins in the green space led by female warriors. Spend time showing how she honed her deadly survival skills as a child. Show Furiosa's mother mentoring her daughter. This would make mom's murder more impactful for the audience. Devote the 2nd act to Furiosa's rise from a fledgling mechanic to a full-fledged imperator. Develop the mentor relationship with Praetorian Jack, and show the audience how imperators learn & apply their craft. Third act: show her journey of building her own team, earning the status and respect among the war boys and the bosses. Those struggles and growth would be far more interesting than the Mary Sue, girl boss, female rage, patriarchy bad product we got. And more badass cars and trucks driving scenes please. That's the single best thing about the franchise. Sadly, the vehicles are barely noticeable here.

Disney execs: "Remake with ambiguously racial lesbian as the lead and we're in business! And if we can't do that, the little girl becomes the 'Strong Female Character' to save the day in the next one!"

Ya, the reason u need the force to use a lightsaber is: imagine holding a pencil in ur hand erasure up. You swing it around, and if at any point the eraser isn't pointing enough away from you, you maim or kill yourself. Its a weapon with no weight that deals insane damage. You don't have the balance a sword would have to indicate where the blade is, and because of its lack of weight it can be swung crazy fast whereas a real blade is limited in its velocity by its weight and ur strength. I can literally turn a lightsaber blade in my hand with the flick of a finger but can't do that with a blade, and certainly not with enough force to cause any real damage. That's why a lightsaber is a jedi exclusive weapon. Could u use it to perform a simple one time act very carefully? Sure! But to fight with it? Lol, you'd end urself before the enemy had the chance. Also, love how in the scene at 4:40 Finn just falls on the lightsaber... that would just bisect him....

Andor is an amazing star wars show painting what we never saw, the life of more "normal people" trying to life or fight the empire as they can. What's even better is how Andor just try to survive in this world. just one of the best star wars show i've saw since rogue one.

Space horses? Why that? They could have done what they did on the Ewok planet. Hollywood actors have to do what they are told
